St Mary's Private Wealth committed to Women in Finance Charter
In March 2019, St Mary's Private Wealth is proud to became a signatory to HM Treasury's Women in Finance Charter among 36 newly joined firms. Firms that sign up to this Charter are pledging to be the best business in the sector. Over 800,000 employees in the UK are now covered by the Women in Finance Charter. HM Treasury's Women in Finance Charter aims to tackle gender inequality in financial services sector. Thanks to this plan, female representation in the City is rising. “We believe a balanced workforce is beneficial to our customers and ultimately beneficial to the business.” said Peng Liu, Director of St Mary’s Private Wealth. St Mary's Private Wealth pledges to promote gender diversity by: • having one member of our senior executive team who is responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion; • setting internal targets for gender diversity in our senior management; • publishing progress annually against these targets in reports on our website; • having an intention to ensure the pay of the senior executive team is linked to delivery against these internal targets on gender diversity.
